Make sure the headset is plugged in all the way and plugged into the correct ports.
Check the volume and mute buttons on the headset
Check to see that the volume is turned up and is not muted.
A. Left click on the speaker icon and make sure the volume is turned up and that the mute check box is not checked.
B. Right click on the speaker icon and go to playback devices. Ensure the volume is turned up
C. Or - go to the start menu
Open the control panel:
Sounds and audio devices
Go to the Audio tab and click volume under Sound playback
Check to make sure it's turned up and that the mute checkbox is not checked
E. Double click sound
F. Click volume make sure it's turned up
Check the volume on the user speaking by clicking on the speaker icon for that user’s audio/video (web client) or hover over the users name (rich client)
