When in an
the Presentation Area contains a number of tabs at the top of the screen.
The second tab to the right is the
. This is where you will manage the content that is appearing on the Presentation tab. You will have the ability to upload documents, create whiteboards, and paste bitmap images. The content will appear as “slides” is the column under your name. You will also have the ability to view the content that other users have uploaded into the system.
: Users assigned to the student role can NOT see other users content.
The Tool Bar located under your name in the content column allows for the following actions:
Convert and Upload document
Paste bitmap from Clipboard
Convert and Upload Document
- the first function is convert and upload a document. Browse to the file you would like to upload and click open.
A progress bar will appear at the bottom of the screen.
When finished, the image will appear under the tool tab.

– This upload option allows you to edit the uploading settings within the AMVONET Virtual Printer. By clicking on this, you will first open up the document in its native program (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.) and allow you to access the virtual printer. This custom uploading will then appear in the AMVONET Virtual Printer queue found inside AMVONET Connect.
After clicking on the Open Document icon, the AMVONET Uploader screen will appear.
Once the file/document is open- follow the Uploader instructions to print this to the AMVONET Virtual Printer. Once ‘printed’, a printer icon will display in the lower right corner of the screen. At this point you can click the printer icon and upload the file/document into the presentation if you so choose.

-this function adds a whiteboard. Enter a name for the new whiteboard, then click OK.
Double click on the image to enlarge view. Again click the publish button to place it in the presentation view.
Paste bitmap from Clipboard
- upload a bitmap from print screen. Press the ’prt scrn’ button on your keyboard of what you would like to upload, then go to content and click the ‘paste bitmap from clipboard’ button.
This will upload and display the selection under the tool bar.
- Any content can be deleted by clicking the red ‘X’ in the lower right corner of the content (whiteboard, .jpg pic, etc.)
